In a letter from the presidency written by the secretary to the President, Dr Callistus Mahama, to Dr Akufo Dampare, the following key directives were highlighted.

1.Establishment of a Dedicated Investigative Taskforce

2. Collaboration with Witnesses and Families

3. Review of Electoral Security Arrangements

4. Use of Forensic Evidence

5. Collaboration with Electoral and Civic Bodies.
